Our inspiration for off-grid camping comes from the desire to adventure into the unknown. We design every Bowlus for off-grid adventures, and that’s exactly what you’ll find in the Performance Edition. The electrical power system is designed to enable easy effortless off-grid adventure.
The yacht quality pure sine inverter is upgraded to 3,000W. Pure-sine wave inverters produce an AC power signal off-grid that looks very much like what you may experience at home – smooth power that makes for the reliable running of electrical outlets in the bedroom, bathroom, and living room. An increased capacity inverter, means you don’t have to worry about figuring out your electric load every time you want to run more than a few things at once (or other electrical hogs like blenders).
The lithium iron phosphate system’s capacity is doubled to 600 Ah/7680Wh for up to two weeks of off-grid battery use. The impressive system rapidly charges in 3-4 hours. The air-conditioning is estimated in this Edition to cool up to two overnights.
The entire power management system is connected via Bluetooth and the internet so that all critical data is easily accessible on your smartphone. With all outlets live at all times, you really never need to think about their power consumption – and that to us is luxury.
